OnePlus 6 and 6T pick up Zen Mode with a Play Store update

OnePlus moved their Zone Mode app to the Google Play Store to push out updates more quickly, but that was originally only for the OnePlus 7. The feature was originally intended to be back ported to some previous OnePlus devices, though, and side loading the app even worked on older devices without much issue.

It’s a little late, but now that Zen Mode app on the Play Store has received an update making it compatible with the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.

This new update works just like it does on the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, and will be able to get new features and optimizations outside of full OS updates. Since launch, Zen Mode has been fine-tuned and now allows you to set up distraction free times in different increments, including 20, 30, 40, and 60 minute intervals. More updates are bound to come, especially with some new announcements from OnePlus right around the corner.
